My name is Gabriel Castro and I have always been around computers. I have come to realize that the
technology is around us and its main purpose is to help us be more efficient and to help us grow. Technology is only getting bigger and faster, so why not grab it and use it to its fullest capacity.
I have lived in Manson for 18 years and many people know me as the computer kid. It wasn't my first choice but it's not a suprise why they call me that. In second grade, my elementary school was introduced to desktop computers and I was chosen to be one of the first students to play with them. Since then, my passion for computers has grown exponentially.
At the age of 15, I was asked to work at a great motel in Manson while the owners were having their "once-every-5-years-vacation."While I was there, I experimented with the business. I looked at their accounting methods, computer use and how they marketed and exposed their business to the world. After a couple of days "at work," I made that business my own and I felt the need to make sure it was successful. I designed a web site, redesigned their logo, marketed their business and setup a wireless network so that the customers could receive free wireless internet. That experience added another chapter in my life.
Now I am a University of Washington student studying to be a Business Administrator and an Informations Systems manager. I am on my path to getting my degree in the areas that I grew up enjoying. I am a strong believer that a successful business must have ablance of business ethics and understanding as well as a strong use of the latest technology. The new generation of people are growing up with an intense exposure of television, internet and "Google ©."In order for a business to be noticed by this new generation, it must advertise in the right places and use the right tools. That is why I am dedicating my life's work to helping people in that area.
There is no specific type of person I am focusing my services to. Everyone needs help in one way or another. Whether it's individual humans who are having problems with their computer or a business who needs to implement a new website and marketing strategy, I will be there to guide them the whole way.
